Oat based breakfasts have always been my thing. In winter a warm bowl of oats with berries to keep me happy and well, warm and summer a nice crunchy bowl of Granola is exactly what I need to get me started if I don’t have the patience for a smoothy.
Recently I’ve been reading up about skin care, from in store to good old home remedies and to be honest, I’ve been horrified with how many chemicals are in some of our most common “natural” skin care products. I’m trying to go back to nature, back to the root as much as possible, (I say this trying my hardest not to sound like a happy hippy) so, I thought I would start with a toner.
Now I don’t know about you but winter makes me want to curl up in bed with a big cup of tea, my Mac and watch series. So not only am I fighting the urge to snuggle all day but IM ALWAYS HUNGRY! I don’t mean i crave kale chips or flipping green smoothy’s. I crave burgers, chips dripping in oil, butter croissants, chocolate donuts, every and anything that’s fatty, chocolate, or bread like. I want it every day and I want it all day.
So, the way I avoid becoming total slob (and I very easily can become one, especially over weekends) I stick to a few rules in the cold winter months. I thought I would share them with you too because if summer bodies are made in winter, this is the time to really work hard at being fit and healthy.
